St. Johns Art Walk
St. Johns Swapnplay is so excited to participate in this year’s St. Johns Art Walk! Join us this Saturday, July 23rd, in celebrating local artists by strolling through our beautiful neighborhood and enjoying the fun exhibits, activities, and more that local businesses and artists have put together!
Swapnplay will be hosting local artists Kelly Campbell @its.mxkelly @kcpuppetree and Lara Rouse Collage @good_luck_lara, as well as our very own teacher and Swapnplay mama Angela, creator of The Nature Atelier @the.nature.atelier! In addition to leading a hands-on children’s art activity for toddler/preschool age littles, Angela will have Nature Atelier goodies and kits available for purchase.

Flower Pounding is an eco-print method uses pounding to release the pigments of the plants onto the fabric. It is an accessible introduction to natural colors in plants and a fun way to explore patterns and shapes. This activity can get a little noisy, but that is one of the things many kids love about it.
