Skipathon Fundraiser 2026

Save the date! Skipathon 2026 is coming up on September 11th!

At the end of the summer each year, St. Johns Swapnplay holds an annual fundraiser campaign to raise money for specific projects, space improvements, and major updates. This year, we’re excited to announce that we’re going to be refreshing our street painting in addition to doing our regular fundraising.

We rely on our community to contribute to special events, projects, and regular operations; we need everyone’s help! Whether you can contribute $5 or $100 or more, please chip in to our annual fundraising efforts!

Plus, share with your friends, neighbors, grandparents, and classmates! Swapnplay is a community non-profit that helps support families across our metro area to raise healthy children on a healthy planet. This mission benefits EVERYONE in our city, not just parents and families! Since opening in 2009, we’ve provided a wide variety of developmentally-appropriate, high-quality, intentional toys, materials, and opportunities across our 7 play zones.

Skipathon is a spirited celebration of our community and our fundraising efforts, with outdoor, active fun for children of all ages, tunes, eats and treats. Plus, tie dye fun and an amazing raffle fundraiser! Pizza & s’mores from Ash Woodfired, Heartbeat Silent Disco, a bee demo from Swapper Casey Perry, seed packet making with Columbia Land Trust, and a visit from Squirrel-Space!

Then, on Saturday 9/12 from 8 am- 2pm, we’re going to be refreshing our beautiful street mural. Join a crew of volunteers from the University of Portland to beautify the block! Refreshments provided.

While you get ready to party with us, consider contributing to our fundraiser. Share the link and tell folks why Swapnplay is important to you, and send the link out to friends, grandparents, educators, and neighbors. It takes a village to support a small, locally run community nonprofit!
