Happy 13th Birthday to Swap!

We are celebrating 13 years of playing, sharing, and connecting! Our member families took a festive approach to attire, wearing their favorite rainbow outfits and choosing to enter one of several locally-sponsored prize drawings: a “Rainbows & Raindrops” art and play kit from The Nature Atelier; adult beverages from Rogue Ales & Spirits; a gift card from Two Rivers Bookstore; a gift card from Sock it to Me; or a gift card and cookies from Sparrow Bakery PDX! Our member-created cupcake rainbow was a sweet and beautiful centerpiece (and an annual tradition!), enjoyed outdoors alongside a selection of tasty beverages, including generously donated drinks for all ages from Rogue Brewing. With a rainbow photo booth, colorful hand painting, rainbow bracelet crafts, music, a member-performed bubble show, and goody bags of fun, including clay donated from Portland Child Art Studio and homemade squirrel crayons to go with our Swapnplay coloring page, there was plenty of fun to be enjoyed for members of all ages! Long live Swap!
