Our community relies on everyone contributing and lending a hand around the space. We want 100% participation from our member families!
Do you love to organize? Perhaps you’ll choose to sort gear in the Trading Post. Have a green thumb? Sign-up to tend our garden or water plants. Do you love to look at adorable baby onesies? Add your name to sorting the newborn clothing bin! Handy? Become our handy person tending to small projects around the space. There’s a job for everyone!
The next time you are in the space, please reference the Jobs Binder (located on the wall across from the kitchen). Here are the steps you’ll need to take to sign-up for a job:
1. Familiarize yourself with the different job categories and descriptions.
2. Choose ONE available job that is best suited to the time your family has to give. Although, if you have the time to give, we welcome you to sign-up for additional tasks.
3. Use a dry erase marker to write your name next to your chosen job.
4. Complete your job as often as necessary per its description.
5. Sign-off when task is completed either with your initials or date.
In addition to these jobs, we also host quarterly work parties. You may attend at least one work party per quarter in lieu of a play space job.
If you try a job and it doesn’t suit you, you’re welcome to erase your name and sign-up for another. Have a special talent to offer our community? Get in touch! Going out of town? Send us an email to let us know, so we can cover. We are a team!
