PLAY, SHARE, AND CONNECT WITH YOUR COMMUNITY
Our 4,000‐square‐foot play space engages children ages 0-7 in diverse, interactive activities while providing access to shared resources and opportunities for parents and caregivers to connect. From our inception in 2009, we have worked with our community partners and parent volunteers to build an affordable, vibrant, inviting, and safe play space with a variety of activities to build cognitive and social skills as well as cultivating imagination, creativity, and self‐discovery.
MEMBERS GET UNLIMITED ACCESS
Member families get access to play, learn, swap, and grow anytime they want during our open hours. Enjoy unlimited visits with a monthly membership, which includes plus perks like guest access, classes, swapping, and more. Each family receives their own unique code to access our secure play space at their convenience.
WEEKLY ACTIVITIES
Member families can participate in a variety of activities, including weekly classes, seasonal events, regular meet-up groups, and more. View our calendar here.
SWAPPING ROOMS
Our space features two rooms loaded with baby gear, toys, puzzles, books, plus children, adult, and maternity clothing, shoes, bedding, cloth diapers, and much more. Take what you need, and pass along what you don’t! Community swapping helps decrease our collective environmental impact by reducing consumption and reusing existing items by extending their usable lives. These rooms are open to members only.
FOOD BUYING/SHARING
Members can participate in our monthly bulk buy run. We order from Dave’s Killer Bread (through the Healthy Bread Store Outlet in Milwaukie), Equal Exchange, and Bob’s Red Mill. The savings are great- get Dave’s Killer Bread for about $2/loaf! We also are a drop for Azure Standard, a company offering natural, whole foods and passing bulk discounts onto its customers.
WE HAVE MANY MEMBERSHIP TIERS TO CHOOSE FROM.

Black Lives Matter.
We are committed to addressing issues of oppression and racial injustice; we work to create a more equitable community and nation. We call upon our friends, neighbors, families, and community members to participate in moments of critical reflection and in honest conversations; to engage with issues of racial justice through impactful actions; and to join us in affirming diversity, fostering a sense of belonging for all people, and creating a more just and equitable community, especially for people who have been marginalized historically and continue to be today. Learn more and find resources in our Board’s statement here.
Land Acknowledgement
We are a nonprofit organization that operates on the traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other nations of the Columbia River region. We respectfully acknowledge and honor Indigenous communities- past, present, and future- and thank the current members of these tribes for their historic and ongoing stewardship of these lands. We recognize that Portland is a diverse community of many Native peoples who continue to live and work here today. As settlers and guests on these lands, we are committed to honoring their history, protecting the land, and promoting equity and justice throughout our community and world.
